Passport explores the relationship between identity, nationality and global movement. By replacing the human head with a globe and incorporating a passport into the figure, the work questions how geographical borders and national documentation influence our understanding of belonging. The layered marks and fragmented visual language represent movement, uncertainty and the accumulation of experiences associated with migration. The figure becomes both an individual and a representation of the global citizen, caught between the freedom to imagine a borderless world and the systems that continue to regulate human movement.
